T-3 Health and Fitness, LLC, (formerly F.I.R.S.T. Fitness Training), is an innovative fitness center offering a unique approach to exercise and weight loss. Our primary objective is to provide a professional, personalized service to help you achieve optimal results.

CraigMy name is Craig Marks and I am the proud owner and lead trainer of T-3 Health and Fitness.  I want to be your partner in health and fitness for life and I’m here to help you transform your body and mind.

I was a competitive wrestler from the age of 10 through my years at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, utc-wrestling2and have always lived the fitness lifestyle. I have been an ACE and NPTI certified personal trainer, certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist since 1988 and am proud of all my former and current client’s accomplishments.  I’ve personally witnessed countless numbers of people transform their minds and bodies through my unique and often non-conventional training methods.

As a licensed physical therapist since 1989, I pride myself at being an expert at preventing most common training injuries and I am qualified to assess and treat most others. I’m an expert at sledgehammer, plexiglass and abdominal workouts along with my highly popular “1000” high intensity workout (guaranteed to burn over 1000 calories in 60 minutes). Additionally,  17 years ago, I developed my nationally and internationally recognized Kinesio-Arts Training Program ® for persons living with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological illnesses.  This program has been seen on the Michael J Fox Foundation web site along with numerous other national and international media outlets.  I have become a Parkinson’s expert and have been involved in many events to raise funds and awareness for research and to honor my father who lived with Parkinson’s for several years.

In the training studio, my goal is to motivate each of my clients to reach higher levels than they knew they could.   Once you enter my training studio, you never know what lies in store for you. And that, is a very good thing!

We’ll help you get the body you want by performing explosive metabolically demanding movements. Your body was designed for sprinting, jumping, lifting, pushing and pulling which are incorporated into every aspect of our training.   T-3 specialized programs combine the latest exercise science techniques, with the use of traditional exercise equipment, as well as diverse, intensive tools including medicine balls, sledge hammers, weighted vests, ladders, sand bags, kettle bells and more.

Our Expanding Staff:  Craig Moody and Abbe Woods

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest trainer, Craig Moody.  Craig has been a loyal client of T-3 Health and Fitness for the past 1 1/2 years and an amateur body builder.  Craig is now available for appointments every Saturday from 8am to 4pm.  He brings a wealth of knowledge about body building, weight loss and nutrition, along with his contagious energy.

We are also proud to announce that Abbe Shaw, CPT, joined our staff on October 1st, 2009 as our newest trainer.  High energy is Abbe’s middle name!  Abbe brings her dynamic approach to T-3 Health and Fitness and her expertise with cardio-vascular training.  Abbe will be challenging her clients to reach their full potential each and every day.
